The Not So Well-Known Benefits Of Item Upgrade

From Hastam Wiki

Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades

The upgrade of gear can increase its base stats, and sometimes boosts its extras. The worth of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements, and the amount of random enhancements applied.

For instance, the premium racial shield Razortail is often upgraded to enhance its lightning absorb capability in PvP or to provide additional defenses on missile based builds in PvM. This makes it more exchangeable over the unupgraded version.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens can be used to reroll an item you have acquired like armor, weapon, or rings. This swaps the current Best item upgrader for a different one similar one and comes with an additional set of bonuses. Reroll tokens are an affordable way to upgrade gear. However, they do not retain the same level as the original item, and any wasted resources will not be refunded.

The survivors can acquire reroll tokens by a variety of means such as the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be found in chests and crates or purchase them from the stores for $150 each. Reroll tokens can be used to change the attributes of a piece of equipment, such as increasing its damage or granting it a brand new stat.

Players can roll equipment with three attributes, physical power, spell power, and health. Upgrades to physical power increase damage from weapons and melee attack and spell power increase the damage of mage attacks and the ring. Health upgrades provide the player with an additional level of health.

There are three types of reroll tokens: upgrade, rare, and legendary. Each upgrade elevates the item to a better quality. To create them, you require a higher level token to reroll. Upgrades require a standard item. Rare upgrades require items that are either unique or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.

The marker that rerolls, unlike special tokens or markers placed on action spaces remains on the space until the next Success is being rerolled. This is a way to avoid wasting upgrades.

Blueprints appear as envelopes at the start of each Preparation Phase, and can be opened by grabbing them with Interact. When they are opened, they show an explanation and icon for the appliance or ingredient. The restaurant's shop will swap blueprints for a new appliance or ingredient for an amount of money.

In the end, blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool during a run. This changes which blueprints the restaurant's shop has available for rerolls and which are available in the Non-droppable Pool.

Growthstones

In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to upgrade armor, weapons and other items. These are special stones that increase an item's level by increasing its stats and abilities. They can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the major towns. They can purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a cost. They can also be purchased by players who complete daily contracts.

To upgrade equipment to upgrade gear, players must first locate the item then click the "level up button". This will display a list of the item upgrading's level, and what it will be after being leveled-up. It will also show the amount of Growth Stones needed to accomplish this. The number of Growth Stones required to upgrade the gear will depend on its rarity. Most often rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, whereas rare armor requires only one blue or green Growth Stone.

After deciding what to upgrade, players need to select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to use and pay the appropriate cost. After the player has met the requirements, they can hit the upgrade button and apply the Growth Stones. This will raise the item upgrades's level by a certain percentage. The upgrade process can last from a few seconds to several minutes, based on the rarity of the item.

The upgrade process also is risk-free and will not impact the durability of the item. This makes the system an excellent way for players to gain an advantage in battle without putting a strain on their accounts. Furthermore, players can transfer the experience and advancement of an upgraded item to new gear by clicking on the "transfer" tab.

The process of getting Growth Stones in Throne and Liberty can be daunting for players who are new to the game. There are a variety of ways to acquire them. You can complete contracts and purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants, defeat Abyssal Contracts, collect them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book or find them in reward chests during the Ancient Arena Season. Additionally players can take apart higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.

Leveling

Leveling is an option that lets players increase the base stats of weapons armor, helms and trinkets. It's done by combining an item with upgrades at the Upgrade Station and paying a fee of Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The upgrade materials will be used up and the item will gain an upgraded level. This process can be repeated until the highest level for an item has been reached.

Items with upgraded stats will have an icon of blue next to their slot. In contrast to enchantments, upgrade components do not stack with each other, but can only be added to a single item at a time. Each upgrade component requires an amount of items as well as a certain equipment level.

The Upgrade Station features two slots: the left is where players can put in a piece of equipment that they wish to upgrade, and the right slot shows a preview of what the equipment will look like once it is at its next level. When the player has enough items, pressing the yellow arrow will start the upgrade process.

A piece of equipment can be upgraded a maximum of five times. Every time the item is upgraded, its base stats will increase by a small amount. The maximum level of an item is 19.

When an item reaches its maximum level, its upgrades are no longer available for it. Once a piece of equipment is upgraded to a certain track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track will be discounted.

Upgrade components are a form of equipment that can be inserted into weapons, armors trinkets, gathering tools and other trinkets to give an additional benefit or bonus while the equipment is being used. They can be purchased from vendors, looted or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be swapped by acquiring new ones. However, this can destroy the old upgrade.

Requirements

Upgrades to items give players the ability to boost certain stats of weapons and armor they currently have equipped. The requirements to upgrade an item differ based on the type of item however, you'll usually require Dilithium along with the number of Upgrade Tokens.

Items can be upgraded by adding upgrade components to equipment and weapons. This will give them more effects or an improved quality of the item. The upgrades can be acquired from various sources in the game, including crafting, purchased from the Trading Post or karma vendors, looted from bosses and raids, or retrieved from dungeons. Once an upgrade component has been inserted into an item, it can't be removed and replaced freely, however, glyphs placed in gathering tools can be swapped without restrictions.

Upgrades can increase the Mark Level or Rarity. Additionally, some upgrade components have additional modifiers that can improve the item's stats.

For instance, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" improves base defense, and also gives an additional 20% chance of blocking. The DPS "Wildfire", however, increases weapon damage.

Upgrades can be beneficial for certain items, but they are not because they increase stats. They are more valuable for the players when they achieve the perfect roll. For instance, a perfectly rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly sought-after in the melee PvP community and could be worth 20-50x the non-upp'd version.

When you select an upgrade component to be inserted into an item, the game will display an in-game window that lists the necessary requirements. The game will display the required requirements when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item.

Once you've satisfied the conditions for upgrading, the game will place the item in your inventory, and the progress bar will be updated to show how close you are to completing the upgrade. You can also verify the status of an upgrade by going to any item upgrader NPC.
