The sliding side panel of the crib can be raised and lowered by a simple press of a button. This makes it simple to reach inside and soothe a baby at night. It has 11 height adjustments to fit almost any mattress size. It also has adjustable folding feet to ensure that it is at the right level.

The Roomie Glide, unlike some other cribs for bed, is compatible with all beds including divans. This is because of the straps and clips which connect it. It can also be used as a standalone crib even when it's not connected to the bed. It comes with a variety of amazing features that were designed with baby and parent bonding in mind.

It is important to remember that this crib won't last as long after your baby turns six months old. You'll need to buy a bigger crib. But, in general Roanna felt that the Joie Roomie Glide was a very good purchase and she especially liked its elegant design.

The Roomie Glide is available to purchase from John Lewis for PS160, which Roanna felt was an affordable price for a cot featuring the most innovative features. She also liked how it appeared in the bedroom and believed that its grey colour is a good fit for modern homes. She did mention that it's not an ideal idea to rock a baby younger because it can create a bad sleep pattern for later.

It has a drop side rail which can be easily removed for feedings at night without having to wake your child or get up it's ideal for breastfeeding mothers! We love that it's made from soft materials with mesh sides that breathe, which aids in airflow and ease of use. It is available in charcoal or oak and a range of melange fabrics that will blend with most decor styles. Anna found it to be sturdy and secure when affixed to her bed with the legs firmly snapping into place and the zips secure to ensure safety for babies. It took Anna approximately 10 minutes to put it together and did not require any tools. There are clear instructions, a video and a customer support number if you have any problems.

It also comes with six height settings. Additionally it has an incline feature that can be used to assist babies with congestion or reflux. With the addition of a sofa bed extension pack, it could be converted into an actual bed. While it won't magically bring your baby to sleep or feed them, it will rock them and send them off.

The Chicco Next2Me Magic

This is one of Chicco’s more expensive options. It does have many excellent features. It can be used either a side-sleeper or as a standalone crib, and is suitable for infants ranging from birth to six months. It's easy to open and close the side panel with a brand new mechanism. It's also more flexible than the previous model, with 11 different height settings as well as legs that retract to installation underneath any bed.

Our testers were impressed by the ease of use offered by the side panel, that can be moved up and down with one click of a switch. This was particularly useful at night, as they could reach inside and pick up their baby without waking them up.

The side panel can be removed by itself however it isn't recommended since it increases the chance of your baby falling out of the cot. The safety locking system makes sure that the side panel will remain in place if it's connected correctly to the mattress of the parent. This is a wonderful feature to have for peace of mind, particularly when you're breastfeeding and need frequent nighttime feedings.

The Chicco Next2Me Magic is designed to be compatible with any bed, including divan bases and beds with drawers thanks to the telescopic legs. It comes with a tilting function for babies with reflux, as well as an option to rock to soothe them to sleep after eating. It is also very spacious and has excellent ventilation thanks to its mesh sides.

The Next2Me Magic was easy to use and set up for our testers despite the lengthy instruction manual. It's a bit heavier than other side-sleepers however, it is easily moved from one area to another. It's small enough to fit in a travel bag when not in use, which is an advantage if you need to transport it. The only downside our testers noticed was that the side panel didn't flex as much as some of the other models, making it slightly harder to observe your child from your bed.

A gentle incline helps to reduce colic and reflux while the zip down side allows you to feed or comfort your baby at night.

The kit for conversion to cot (sold separately) is also well-designed, with clear instructions and everything you require to begin. It took us about an hour to put together and was reasonably straightforward. The only drawback was the lack of written captions on some of the pictures which made it difficult to comprehend some of the steps. However, it was a straightforward procedure and the quality of the materials employed was of a high standard.

The Shnuggle Air is a great option for mothers who are breastfeeding or have had a c-section. It allows them to reach out and hold their baby to comfort them and feeding without leaving their bed. It's also great for mothers who wish to avoid the stress of getting into and out of a traditional cot, or putting their baby down for a nap.

The gliding motion was discovered to be extremely helpful in lulling babies to sleep after feedings during the midday or at night. The drop-down side is also accessible to feed or soothe babies in the middle of the night and was a major draw for our exhausted test moms. Although it doesn't rock, or come with extra features, like a sound machine, the Joie Roomie Glide's sleek design and functionality are a welcome addition our best bedside baby bed crib reviews.
