The iRobot Home App is easy to use, however we found it less reliable as other robotic cleaner apps. It can take a long time to download updates, and often it's difficult to know whether the update actually working until you've seen it in the action.

2. Roborock Q5+

This isn't an essential feature for everyone but it will assist you in keeping track of the maintenance intervals for your robot with ease.

3. Narwal Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a smart well-rounded mop and vacuum. It's capable of vacuuming and mopping. Its design is one of the best in the industry however it's quite expensive.

The Freo X Ultra is not without faults, particularly when it comes navigation. Its LiDAR sensors and laser sensors aren't as reliable as other robovacs. This means that it can get stuck or get confused in certain corners or rooms in the house. It also can't climb stairs as well as other competitors and doesn't come with a dock to create a cleaning zone for carpets that are soft.

Although it doesn't provide as much in the way of cleaning options available in its app or as many in-app shortcuts like other robovacs the Freo X Ultra is still an excellent choice for anyone looking for a comprehensive mop and robot vacuum that's worth the premium price price.

If you're looking for a way to save money or aren't concerned about the limitations of the robot, there are plenty of alternatives available. Many of the eufy models cost significantly less. The Eufy Qrevo Curv, for example is less expensive and offers the same experience in the app, but with additional features such as stairs, a fully-function dock, and a better overall performance when vacuuming floors and low and high-pile carpets.

The dock should be placed near an outlet with plenty of room to move.

The G30 is a tiny device that measures 2.85 inches in height, so it can be placed under most couches and low-clearance pieces furniture. Its design is more subtle in comparison to other models. It is sleek with a black finish and three physical buttons for Auto Cleaning start/pause (which scrubs a spot in a spiral pattern for two minutes) Recharge, and Spot Cleaner. You can also link the G30 to Amazon Alexa or Google Home to do unscheduled cleaning with voice commands.
