iRobot recommends that you tidy the area around the i3+ EVO vacuums prior to using it. This includes getting rid of any toys or other clutter it may encounter. It's also recommended to keep the dust bin and filter clean so they aren't clogged by dirt. We were also amazed by the i7+'s compatibility with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant AI services which we used to instruct the robot to start, stop or pause its cleaning session, move itself around the room and sweep a specific space. The iRobot Home App made it easy to connect the i7+ with these services. After connecting we were able to give the i7+ voice commands like "Hey Alexa, vacuum the master bedroom." This means that it is sometimes stuck on things like phone cords or low furniture, and it frequently will run out of battery before returning to its base.
