- Marauder: Marauders are barbarian creatures that most strongly resemble Orcs if compared to any fantasy race. They cover most of their bodies in thin cloth made from cotton grown in the oases of the Madlands, and they’re never seen without their fast-moving light horses. Their language has not been cracked by Hastish linguists and is implied to contain non-verbal elements, though a few Marauders have managed to learn human languages and use them to bargain or taunt their enemies. They live in the Northern Madlands and frequently raid Gorgovania, Tecpatl and the Partisan Empire, the last one being particularly inconvenient due to its prominent trade routes.
