7 Helpful Tips To Make The Most Out Of Your Item Upgrade
Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrades can boost the power of a piece of equipment and sometimes even its extras. The worth of these upgrades is determined by the tiers of gear, their requirements, and the number of random augmentations are applied.
The elite racial Shield Razortail, for example, is often upgraded to increase its lightning absorption capability in PvP, and/or to add additional defenses to missile-based builds in the PvM. This makes it more tradeable than the un-upgraded version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens allow you to reroll a purchased item like an armor, weapon or ring. This allows you to swap the item for a different one similar one, with a different set of extra bonuses. Reroll tokens can be a cost-effective method to upgrade equipment. However, they don't retain the level of the original item and any resources that are wasted aren't refunded.
The survivors can get Reroll tokens in a variety of ways, including through the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They can be located in crates and chests or bought at the local store at a cost of 150k each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter an attribute on an item, such as increasing its damage or granting it a new stat.
Players can reroll equipment in three categories: physical power, spell power and health. Physical power upgrades increase the damage caused by weapons and melee attacks and spell power improves mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades give the player additional health.
There are three kinds of Reroll tokens: upgrade rare and legendary. Each of these upgrades the item to a better quality. To create them, you'll need a higher level reroll token. Upgrades require a standard item upgrading. Rare upgrades require an item that is unique or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.
The marker for rerolling, unlike markers or tokens placed on action areas, stays on the spot until the next Success is rerolled. This is a way to avoid wasting upgrades.
Blueprints appear as envelopes at the start of each Preparation Phase and are opened by grabbing them with Interact. When they are opened, they show an image and description of the appliance or ingredient. Blueprints can be exchanged for new Appliance or Ingredient in the restaurant's shop for a small amount of coins.
During the course of an event, blueprints may be transferred between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool due to the choice of Franchise Cards. This changes which blueprints the restaurant's shop offers to reroll and which are available in the Non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
Weapons and armor, as well as accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These stones are special stones which increase the level of an item by improving its stats or attributes. They can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the main towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell them for a fee. They are also available to players who complete daily contracts.
To upgrade gear, players must first find the item they want to upgrade and then click on the "level up" button. The menu will appear that shows the item's current status and what it will be after being leveled up as well as the necessary amount of Growth Stones to achieve this. The number of Growth Stones needed to upgrade an item will depend on its rarity. Rare (blue) rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor only requires a single Growth Stone.
After deciding what to upgrade, players need to select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to use and pay the corresponding cost. After the player has met the requirements, he is able to select the upgrade option and apply the Growth Stones. This will raise the item's level by a specific percentage. The process of upgrading can last between a few seconds and minutes, based on the rarity of the item.
The upgrade item process is risk-free and doesn't affect the item's durability. This is a great way for players who want to get an edge in combat, but don't want to burden their wallets. Furthermore, players can transfer the experience and the progress of an upgraded item onto a new one by clicking on the "transfer" tab.
The process of getting Growth Stones in Throne and Liberty can be a challenge for new players. There are a variety of methods to get the stones. You can complete contracts and purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants, defeat Abyssal Contracts, collect them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book or find them in reward chests during the Ancient Arena Season. Players can also break down the higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones.
Leveling
Leveling is an option that allows you to increase the power of weapons and armor. You can also upgrade trinkets and helms. It is accomplished by combining an item with upgrade components at the Upgrade Station and paying a fee of Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The process will consume upgrade materials and give the item a higher level, granting the item an additional boost in that particular area. This process can be repeated until the highest level of an item is attained.
Items with upgraded base stats display a blue icon in their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments can't be added to more than one item at once. Each upgrade component also requires a certain number of items as well as a certain equipment level.
The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left side, players can choose to add an item that they wish to upgrade. On the right, an image of the gear will look like at its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow once the player has enough materials will begin the upgrade process.
A piece of equipment can be upgraded a maximum of five times. Every time the item upgrader mod is upgraded, its base stats will increase by a small percentage. The maximum level of an item is 19.
Once an item has reached its maximum level, its upgrades will not be available for it. When an item reaches a specific upgrade track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track ) they will be discounted.
Upgrade components are a form of equipment that can slot into armors, weapons, trinkets and gathering tools to give an additional benefit or bonus while the equipment is equipped. They can be bought from vendors, looted or obtained through quests or traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced by acquiring new ones. However, this will ruin the previous upgrade.
Requirements
Upgrades to items allow players to boost the stats of certain armors and weapons they already have equipped. The requirements to upgrade an item will vary based on the kind of item, but typically you'll need Dilithium as well as a few Upgrade Tokens (various options are available).
The items can be upgraded by adding item upgrade components to weapons and equipment. This will give them additional effects or an increase in item level. These upgrades can be obtained from a variety of sources, such as crafting, buying from the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting during bosses and raids. Once an upgrade component has been placed into an object, it cannot be removed or replaced. However it is possible to swap glyphs freely.
The upgrade of an item can boost its Mark Level and/or Rarity. In addition, some upgrade components come with additional modifiers which can further enhance the stats of the item upgrader mod.
The upgrade to the helm "Foundation of the Sun", for instance, increases defense base and gives an additional 20 percent chance to block. In addition, the dps upgrade "Wildfire" increases damage to weapons.
Upgrades can be beneficial for certain items, but they are not because they boost stats. They are more valuable to players if they can get an exact roll. A perfect-rolled 200/6 500 armor set piece, for instance is highly sought-after by the melee PvP communities and can be worth 20-50 times that of the unupp'd version.
When you choose an upgrade component to be inserted into an item the game will display a pop-up window that shows the required requirements. These include the type of item (either Weapon or Armor) the tier of that item, the upgrade Token required, and the amount of progress required to complete the upgrade.
The game will add an item in your inventory when you have completed the prerequisites for an upgrade. The progress bar will then change to show you how far you are towards completing the upgrade. You can also check on the status of an item upgrade by visiting any NPC who upgrades items.
