11 Ways To Completely Revamp Your Item Upgrader
World of Warcraft Item Upgrades
Upgrades to items are a method to increase the stats of an item. Depending on the upgrade type, it may boost an item's Mark Level or Rarity and boost additional stats.
Each item has a track to upgrade it. Each upgrade increases the price of the next item by a certain amount.
Item Level
The value of an item's base stats increases as it is upgraded. This is the sum of all of its upgraded perks (attack magic attack, attack defense). Upgrades can be expensive, dependent on who you employ and what you decide to do. This is due to the sheer number of perks that need to be modified to upgrade an item.
The level of an item is a popular measure of power, and is visible on all tooltips of items. It can also be used to determine a gating condition when queueing for dungeons, raids and scenarios, and to limit the amount of PvP gear players can wear (since PvP is capped at an lower level). Players can see their average level of items on their character sheet.
Utilizing the level of an item can help players evaluate the power of equipment when deciding to purchase or sell. It's an indicator of the item's condition and its quality. The level of the item can be used to evaluate items when examining the inventory of a vendor.
The item level can be viewed by pressing the ALT key on PC or using the left stick (L3) on XB1 and PS4. This will show the item's full description, including the ilvl. You can also find it by hovering over an item and typing /itemlevel in chat.
There are many theories about how the level of an item is determined. One theory says that the level of an item is calculated by a formula that calculates the worth of an item's stats really are. It is based on the fact that different advantages are valued differently and that gems in sockets boost the value of the item. This could result in an item's ilvl which is calculated and is typically very close to Blizzard's real item level.
However, this isn't the only factor which affects an item's ilvl, as the level of the region the item dropped in can change the value of its stats, such as by adding an amount to its crit rating or haste rating. Items dropped in higher-level instances will have higher ilvl.
Item Stats
The stats of an item are a major element in what determines the value of an item for players. The game makes use of them in various ways to encourage players not to restrict themselves to a particular weapon and to encourage players to experiment with other weapons. The stat modifications of a weapon boost the base stats. These stat mods are then enhanced by a player's skill.
Upgrades to an item can increase the stats of an item. The upgrade costs are determined by the rarity of the item. For instance, a grey or white item will only be upgraded once, while an item with the rare tiers can be upgraded many times, at higher costs.
Affixes are a different method to alter the stats of an item. These are special stat boosts that can be added to an item by the player and come in a variety of sizes and shapes. The affixes could do things like give the item upgrade additional damage, or give a specific ability to the item (such as reviving dead or cutting down the duration of cooldowns) or make the item unique by giving an exclusive name to the item.
All affixes are re-rolled at the moment by selecting them in the upgrade menu and pressing the green button. This process will cost the player a certain amount of gold and other items which can be used to add to the upgrade gauge in the same manner as other options for rerolling.
Players can upgrade item an item by specific stats or reroll affixes. The range of stats is determined by the item's level. However, all items will contain at least one stat in the same range, unless it's an exclusive item or a God Roll from a raid boss.
Another thing that could change is the possibility to upgrade equipment without having to reroll affixes, or choose which stats to increase. As with base equipment, it must be done per item and the interface for item comparison would not display all the possible stats simultaneously.
item upgrader mod Luck
The Luck stat of a player increases the probability of obtaining items and the properties that are created by loot and the intensity of these properties. However, it does not directly affect damage or the ability to upgrade items. It simply gives players the chance to upgrade their equipment in earlier waves, and is therefore more beneficial in early game runs than in later ones, because most players value higher weapon scaling and defenses over damage gains.
Luck can also increase the chances of upgrading items at the Blacksmith. This is not to be confused with the Blacksmith's overall chance of upgrading that increase with each item level. They can also be increased by using anti-materials like a Scroll of Strength and a Jewel of Blessing.
Armor, shields and weapons have the default Luck value of 40. These items can be upgraded with golden ingots, spined leather or oak boards (depending on the item's material type) to grant an additional +40 Luck or to boost the existing Luck of the item upgrader kit up to 140.
Certain items, such as the weapon that is infused with hollow, can also be equipped to increase the damage dealt by any skill that is able to deal damage by 5%. These items can be purchased in the shop or created with the right ingredients.
Item Failure
Not all upgrades are successful. However, there are cash shop items which allow players to increase their success rate or prevent them from losing an item upgrade in the event that the upgrade fails.
When you upgrade an item the success rate is shown in the Honing UI. The percentage is the chances of successfully upgrading that item, and can be increased by adding Additional Materials or Special Materials. The chance of success can only be increased as much, and the chance that the upgrade will fail cannot be greater than 100%..
The performance of an upgrades is also influenced by the luck of the item. Each item has an overall success rate of 25%, and every item with Luck increases this chance by 5%.
Note that upgrades to items are rendered above the inventory items therefore enchantment glints and other effects could be obstructed by them. If you wish to disable the upgrade overlays, the config option decoration.renderUpgradeOverlays can be set to False in the Item Upgrader CORE client config.
