Upgrade components

Upgrade components are things that can be inserted into armor, weapons, trinkets, and gathering tools to provide an additional benefit or bonus when the equipment is utilized. They can be purchased from vendors or other players, looted, gotten as a reward, or created by crafting materials. Alongside providing bonus points, upgrade items can also be cosmetically beneficial.

Upgrade components include inscriptions, enhancements, and infusions. They aren't generally available for general use, and they are only available to Ascended equipment or other weapons from the Factions campaign. Infusions, inscriptions, and enrichments can be recovered from equipment with an Infusion Extraction Device. They can also be salvaged using a Blacklion Salvage Kit or Ascended Salvage Tool.

Unlike other upgrade items Phoenix Boxes, unlike other upgrade items, can be traded while still attached to the item that they are upgrading, and they can be reused after being salvaged. These upgrade items are the Best item upgrade way to improve quality of armor and weapon without spending Dilithium, as they can increase the odds of receiving a quality upgrade by two times.

Upgrade components can be added to an item however, the original one is destroyed (except for legendaries and ascended equipment). Upgrade components can only be added to upgraded items that have an identification level of zero or greater. If you add an upgrade to the weapon already equipped with a suffix or a prefix upgrade the item upgrades will be named in the same way as it appears on the game screen (for example adding an Radiant insignia to Canthan Armor transforms it into Canthan Armor Minor Vigor). A player can only own three upgrade items at one time.

Glyphs

Glyphs can be an excellent addition to any item upgrader. They provide unique benefits and boosts. Certain glyphs can increase the number of affixes on an item, thereby increasing the overall power of the item. These glyphs are available through dungeons, and some can even be found in specific World Tier 3 areas. It's important to remember that glyphs are only available to players who have created a root-dungeon with the same level of depth.

In order to use a Glyph, you must first create it using components and connect them to anchors. Then the component will automatically align itself to other components and paths within the same layer. If you do not want to create the glyph using components, you can use an array of paths and anchors. Then, drag an element in close proximity to a highlighted component to secure it.

Certain glyphs require certain requirements to be met like 25 Dexterity in a particular area on the Paragon Board. Certain glyphs require a certain number of Primary Stat Nodes to be activated, which may also be difficult to achieve. Certain glyphs have a radius that increases with each level.

Glyphs can be found on a wide variety of items, and can be added to all weapons except for weapons of a particular class. Some of these glyphs require conditions for example, like having a certain amount of dexterity or attack damage in a particular area on the Paragon board.

The Defend Glyph adds a 5% chance to deflect attacks from enemies. It also has an opportunity of 15% to render the Hero vulnerable for two turns.

There are also a handful of glyphs that can be applied to tools with limited-use capabilities like the Black Lion Chest or Trading Post. The addition of these glyphs will count towards the Combat Mechanic achievement.

The most commonly used glyphs are the attack glyphs, which increase the ATK substats of Artifacts by a flat amount. These glyphs are especially beneficial for classes that use weapons that are ranged, like Warriors or Rogues. The Exploit Glyph renders enemies who attack the Hero vulnerable to damage.

Reroll tokens

Reroll tokens are used to reroll results that are rolled during an Action. When the reroll happens the tokens are then discarded. Reroll tokens are obtained in several ways, including through the dungeons, raids and skirmishes. They can also be bought in the store or from other players. They are especially useful in dungeons and trials because they allow players to play a reroll of rewards from the chest at the end.

For items in the range of 1 there are recycling points. The upgrade gauge will grow by a specific amount of points when you recycle an item. This number is determined by both the item's rarity and level. Additionally the upgraded item will not retain its level when rerolled and the cost for recycling an upgraded item goes up with the level of the item.

Another option is to make use of reroll tokens to reroll an upgrade item however, this won't return the item upgrader to its original state or provide the original stats. This is useful for players who want to reroll a piece of equipment that they don't like but still want to keep in their collection.

There are three kinds of upgrade tokens in the game: reroll, random, and upgrade. Each type has several subtypes. For instance, tokens that reroll are available in three levels: rare, enhanced and legendary. Each level requires an item from the respective level in order to create a new item of the same quality.

To use reroll tokens, right-click on the Satanic or Angelic item in inventory and select "Reroll Token". Then, select a kind of token. The tokens that are available include Item Weapon, Misc, 1hgun, 2hgun and Focus. The use of an Item token will result in the creation of a new Item of any kind. Utilizing the Weapon or Misc token will create a new weapon from the same faction.

There is also a possibility that the item could be upgraded into a new item upgrades with a higher level and the same additional stats. This is likely to happen if the item has been placed in the Pool that is not droppable or if it was transferred to it as part of a franchise card.
