The Q5+ is exceptionally soft when it comes to obstacles like tables and walls. This makes it a great choice for homes that have a lot of furniture. It's also extremely thorough when it comes to cleaning dust bunnies, which is a problem where cheaper robot vacuums can really fall short. The navigation technology in the Q5+ is fantastic as well, with only a few misses in corners and along walls.

The base station looks nice and hides it when not in use, and its dimensions are quite small. The primary selling point of the station is that it can automate many tasks, functions and chores that other robots leave to you. It can keep clean and dirty water and electrolyze and heat the water. Most other robovacs will require you to perform this.

Its vacuuming is also impressive. It's one of the only robovacs that I've tried that does an excellent job of collecting debris from plain floors, and is not as loud as the more expensive Roomba 980 or iRobot 900 series.

The Freo X Ultra is not without faults, particularly when it comes to navigation. Its laser and LiDAR sensors aren't as reliable as other robovacs, which means it can get stuck or confused in certain areas of your home. It also can't climb stairs like other models and isn't equipped with a dock that can create a cleaning zone for carpets with plush padding.

Although it doesn't have as many in terms of cleaning options available in its app or as many in-app shortcuts as other robovacs, the Freo X Ultra is still an excellent choice for anyone looking for an all-around great mop and robot vacuum that's worth the premium price tag.

If you're looking to save money or don't mind the limitations of the robot, there are plenty of other options on the market. Many of the eufy models cost considerably less. The Eufy Qrevo Curv, for instance is less expensive and offers a similar in-app experience with additional features such as stairs, a fully-function dock, and superior overall performance when vacuuming floors as well as high and low-pile carpets.

eufy, an Anker company is a long-standing leader of creating robot vacuums that strike the perfect balance between features, performance and price. You can also connect the G30 to Amazon Alexa or Google Home for voice commands to perform routine cleaning tasks that are not scheduled.

The main aspect that makes the G30 apart from its competitors is the method it cleans. It uses an integrated map to create a picture of the immovable items in its path. It can remember the items it has cleaned and what it is unable to access. If it requires a recharge, it returns to its base and resumes cleaning where it left off.

The eufy G30 has some flaws. The iRobot Roomba is more durable and has lower recurring costs. It charges faster, has a similar battery life, and performs better on unfinished carpet or floors with low pile. It also has a bigger dust bin that doesn't require to be emptied as frequently and comes with a set of boundary strips to ensure it isn't in certain areas. The G30 is more affordable and simpler to maintain. Its smaller container means it doesn't have to be emptied as frequently, and it has less difficulty with bulky items like cereal.
