The i3+ isn't able to have obstacle avoidance capabilities like the i7+ or other top-rated robots we have test. It could get stuck on power cords or socks and have trouble moving between different surfaces like rug and hardwood.

iRobot suggests that you clean up the area where the i3+ EVO vacuums before using it. This includes putting away any toys or other clutter it may encounter. It is also recommended to keep the filters and dust bin clean to prevent them from getting blocked. When the i3+ EVO's internal bin is full or its battery is empty it goes back to its docking station and automatically empties its debris into the station's dust bin, and then continues cleaning the area where it left off. The i3+ EVO's batteries last for about an hour and a half continuous use, and takes around three hours to fully recharge.

We were also awestruck by the i7+'s compatibility Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant AI services that we used to instruct the robot to begin, stop or pause its cleaning sessions, move itself around the room, and even vacuum an area. The process of connecting the i7+ to these services was simple and easy with the iRobot Home app. Once connected to these services, we were able communicate with the i7+ using voice commands, such as "Hey Alexa, vacuum the master bedroom." The iRobot Home app also provides options for managing the i7+'s settings and monitoring its performance.

3. Dyson Cyclone V10
